Golden Globes: Who wore what best?

Finally, its awards season!!! Being a huge fashion and film fan I have to admit I love nothing more than going over every look from every awards ceremony and clipping pictures of dresses, hair, makeup, shoes and accessories and keeping them for future inspiration. So last night we had the Golden Globes take place and I’m happy to say I was impressed with the style. Without a doubt the colours most evident were pinks or blush tones and greens. In terms of finishes, there were lots of ruffles and long sleeves. My top 3 looks on the night were (in no particular order) Mila Kunis, Anne Hathaway and Emma Stone. See these and more of my favourites after the jump!

Mila Kunis chose an emerald-green Vera Wang dress with delicate ruching details. I love this colour on her and I love the shape it gives.

Anne Hathaway shimmered in this amazing Armani Prive gown. I love the strong shoulders and backless feature. Probably one of my favourite looks on her!

Emma Stone wore minimalist Calvin Klein. This was a look you either loved or hated and I loved it! I love the colour and the simplicity of it, and on first glance I thought she looked like Kate Bosworth! At least she stood out 🙂

Angelina Jolie knows what suits her. This column type Versace number looked elegant and sexy. That sea green shade on her was a lovely change from black.

Claire Danes was another Calvin Klein beauty in this pink simple gown. Minimal accessories worked perfectly with this look.

Dianna Agron worked old school Hollywood glamour in her J Mendel gown. Her hair and makeup were perfect to complete this look. The soft blush tones of this dress have me craving something similar…

Elizabeth Moss looked a lot different from her Mad Men character. I thought this Donna Karan dress was a great choice for her, and the green shade was just right!

Eva Longoria knows that black will always look picture perfect. This Zac Posen gown was a perfect fit on her and reminded me of a Victoria Beckham number from last year. I love it!

Leighton Meester is great for wearing something different on the red carpet, and this Burberry Prorsum gown did not disappoint! I love the sleeves, the slit, and her accessories – young and fun!

Sandra Bullock looks positively ethereal in this beautiful Jenny Packham number. Loving that floaty sleeve…

Scarlett Johansson in Elie Saab – a match made in style heaven. Though her hairstyle leaves me cold…
