Some Zara love..

The sales are finally coming to an end here in Paris so the stores are starting to fill with new season pieces. I ventured into Zara today (usually a no-no on a Saturday cos its MENTAL busy) and was greeted by a sea of mints, corals, azures and yellows. I could have bought about 20 items but limited it to 3 – I’m supposed to be doing a wardrobe clearout next weekend so buying lots before I do that seems crazy… Heres a couple of things I spotted on my visit!

FYI I bought the pailettes sequins clutch, a blazer, and the yellow lace top. Think I’ll go back for the white dress and two strap sandals on Monday…

Sisters

My sister Siobhan is my absolute best friend in the whole world, I adore her. And even though we now live in different countries we are still very much connected. For example, within 24 hours of eachother this week, we both ended up buying the exact same coat in Zara in the exact same colour…

…make it slightly sheer! Ladies, I know its freezing out these days but one look I love seeing around town is that sheer-top-mixed-with-woolly-cardigan trend. Beautiful! I’ve always had a bit of a thing for sheer fabrics such as lace and chiffon and lightweight silk, I must admit. I love how it looks and how its the perfect fabric to mix with a contrasting one such as velvet, wool or jean. It’s also hella sexy and comfortable – two things always at the top of my wishlist!!
