The Hills finale: That’s all folks!

MTV’s The Hills final episode aired Tuesday night in the US. After 6 seasons of following the girls, I have to admit I was a tiny bit sorry to see it all end. Even though I wasn’t a huge fan of the past 2 seasons, I still watched it online to see what over the top situation would happen next, and to check out the style. I always loved Lauren’s style and think she’s an expert at knowing what styles suit her. Kristen does laid back chic like no other, and Whitney is the ultimate girly girl in floaty layers and colourful prints. The final episode itself was nothing too special (I won’t ruin it for you lot!), with an ending both clever and unneeded in equal parts, but the wrap party was where it was all happening for me.

MTV Movie Awards 2010: Some looks that worked

The MTV Movie Awards took place last night in LA and as expected, it was the usual faces in attendance. As was also expected, the awards were mostly about Twilight and the Twilight team, and there was no real scandal. Over the years I’ve realised that the fashion at this award ceremony is more fun and experimental than you might find at other awards and if anything, some of the ‘stars’ dress to get the press (yes I’m talking about you Katy Perry!). However, that said, I saw a couple of outfits on the red carpet last night that I know I will see replicated on the high street in the coming weeks and below are the best of these looks.

Trailer: MTV’s The Hills final season

I know I already blogged about the final season of The Hills here, but after seeing the following trailer I had to mention it again!

The Hills no more….

MTV announced today that the upcoming season of The Hills will be the last. In the past 6 seasons we have seen friendships created and torn apart, scandal, sex tapes, teen Vogue closets, lots of product placement, tiny dogs, fashion fuelled trips to Paris, marriage and alcohol addiction. And this final season plans to build on that! According to Adam DiVello, the creator, this season will follow Heidi as she unveils her new post-surgery face and body to her mom, Kristin as she deals with those rumours about drug abuse, Stephanie’s struggle with sobriety, and Audrina’s new boyf Ryan Cabrera. I wonder will golden girl Lauren Conrad return to say goodbye to the show that officially propelled her into the limelight….
