I’m pretty sure you are all sick of the millions of posts about the Oscar fashion by now, but I had to add my two cent! Best dressed of the night for me was a toss up between the lavender romantic lightness of Mila Kunis, and the simple yet elegant perfection of Jennifer Lawrence. There were a good few looks I loved but that were ruined by unsuitable jewels, shoes or shades. A special shout out to Penelope Cruz who is working her post-baby bod like a pro – I was happy to see her back on the Red Carpet!

Golden Globes: Who wore what best?

Finally, its awards season!!! Being a huge fashion and film fan I have to admit I love nothing more than going over every look from every awards ceremony and clipping pictures of dresses, hair, makeup, shoes and accessories and keeping them for future inspiration. So last night we had the Golden Globes take place and I’m happy to say I was impressed with the style. Without a doubt the colours most evident were pinks or blush tones and greens. In terms of finishes, there were lots of ruffles and long sleeves. My top 3 looks on the night were (in no particular order) Mila Kunis, Anne Hathaway and Emma Stone. …make it a colourful print dress! It must be the weather lately, but I’m looking to inject some colour into my life right now! Summer is supposed to be the one time of year you avoid black but I seem to have kept it as a permanent fixture in my wardrobe the last few months! Well no more, August is going to be my month of wearing bright prints, colourful designs and paintbox blocking! Eva Mendes is my inspiration in this 50′s inspired print dress – how amazing does she look!

Scarlett Johansson fronts Mango’s A/W 10 campaign

I recently came across Scarlett Johansson‘s latest campaign for Spanish favourite Mango. I think this is her 4th one for the brand and its no wonder they keep having her back – she looks amazing! It was shot by legendary photographer Mario Sorrenti in New York. Basically this is an excuse for me to post photos of her hot beautiful self!!!!

MTV Movie Awards 2010: Some looks that worked

The MTV Movie Awards took place last night in LA and as expected, it was the usual faces in attendance. As was also expected, the awards were mostly about Twilight and the Twilight team, and there was no real scandal. Over the years I’ve realised that the fashion at this award ceremony is more fun and experimental than you might find at other awards and if anything, some of the ‘stars’ dress to get the press (yes I’m talking about you Katy Perry!). However, that said, I saw a couple of outfits on the red carpet last night that I know I will see replicated on the high street in the coming weeks and below are the best of these looks.
