London Living…

So I’m off to London tomorrow for a bit of work and a bit of play then! Excited for the black tie event I have tomorrow night in a hugely famous London hotel, and very excited to wear a beautiful gown that was loaned to me for the night. I also plan on giving my amazing Aisling Maher headpiece an outing! Once it hits 5 on Friday I plan on having a weekend that consists of cocktails, exhibitions, eating and shopping. Top of my to-buy list are:

  • Some MAC makeup
  • Biker boots
  • Absolute Vintage bag
  • OPI nailpolish
  • Topshop jewellery

Have a good weekend everyone!

Maison Martin Margiela: The exhibition

Running in Somerset House, London at the moment is a unique exhibition covering fashion house, Maison Martin Margiela over the last 20 years. It runs until September 5th and if you are in London, you should definitely check it out. I attended earlier this month and didn’t really know what to expect on arrival – leaving however, I had learned a lot about one of the most anonymous yet established brands in the fashion world.

What I got up to on holidays…

Finally I am getting to writing about my breaks in Spain and London! Since I have gotten back I have been hectic with work and living so I didn’t even have time to think about what fun I had and how much I enjoyed being away for a while. So if you want to know more about what I got up to in Spain or England, read on!

London Baby!

I’m off to London today for a nice long weekend break to see my mate Roisin. She is a real organised person so has an itinerary planned thats packed choc-a-block with fun things to do. Of course we have set aside plenty of time for shopping too! I love shopping in London – not only is the sterling rate perfect on my pocket, but there always seems to be more choice. Plus, I always seem more inspired in London and buy things that last forever and look great.

Guest Post: London Diary for June

*My London based gal-pal Roisin gives the low down on what’s happening in London every month!*

I’m sure many of you have paid a visit to London before. If not, what the…?! Get on that, seriously. Anyway, if you have been you will mostly likely know the usual spots to visit but I’m here to give you a semi-insider track. This will be a monthly post so I get to explore for 30 days and cherry pick the best for your consideration!

Guest Post: Grace Kelly, a style icon

I mentioned before that I was supposed to be in London a couple of weekends ago but couldn’t go due to the whole volcanic ash thing… One of the exhibits I had hoped to attend was the Grace Kelly one in the V&A and I was raging I missed it! Luckily, my mate Roisin went along and has kindly written this piece on her afternoon there! Its a fantastic read, and if you are on twitter you should follow @roisinod for more of her daily musings or check out her blog.

London calling :-)

Its March and I haven’t left the country this year yet. How depressing.

To right this wrong, I have booked a flight to see my very dear friend Roisin who is now living in London, and am looking forward to a nice long weekend with her in April. Its absolutely ages since I have been to London, and I’m excited at the prospect of hitting the markets, people watching, dancing and shopping.

Hoping to do my usual exhibition overload and like the look of these at the wonderful V&A Museum:
