Last night A|wear had one of their ‘Girls Night In‘ at their Henry St location in Dublin. Along with a dj spinning the tunes, there were drinks on hand, makeup tutorials, hair stylists, goodie bags, and of course 20% off all purchases! Below, you can see what I bought instore – and the good news is that if you are a fan of A|wear on Facebook here, you can avail of 20% off instore all over the country this weekend!!!
At this stage, I think every Irish fashion blogger has posted images and write-up’s on A|wear’s new summer collection - the bright and beautiful Club Tropicana, so I’m not going to bore you with a repeat! I love block colouring, jewel tones, maxi’s and summer dressing so no doubt about it, I know I will love plenty of A|wear’s offerings in this collection! When I got the weekly A\wear email into my inbox this week, I was blown away by pretty much every item in the picture below – especially that Multi Jewel Clutch
I love these emails as they always showcase new pieces and standout items you might miss if you are just browsing. For example, after the email I ran into my nearest A|wear to pick up the Jessica Slinky dress that appeared in it, (and I know already that it is going to be my go-to dress for work-to-bar evenings). I picked up these cute Animal Print Sunglasses while I was at it – at €8, they were a steal…
If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you’ll already know of my love for Irish brand A|wear and my obsession with shoes. So then you can imagine my excitement when I received the PR for A|wear’s first shoe collection last week! Launching in October, and including pumps, boots, sandals, mary janes and shoe boots, there will be something to suit everyone’s tastes. See more after the jump…

Last week I had the pleasure of taking part in the A|wear Autumn press day at their Dublin offices. It was a beautiful sunny day out so at first it felt a little strange looking at fur coats and muted colours, but I quickly forgot the humidity outside and got lost in the ’60′s kitten vibe of the room I was in! A|wear’s latest collection might be its best yet. With 3 distinct looks, there’s something for everyone – and more importantly, for everyone’s budget. ‘Factory Girl‘ is all about channeling your inner ’60′s beauty, full of retro brights, animal prints and the tiniest of dresses. ‘Surplus Glamour‘ is for the girl who likes her military look served with a lot of glam factor, with satchels, fitted jackets and pretty florals. For the boho chicks amongst us, they have ‘Bohemian Spirit‘ full of flowing maxis, chunky knits and tapestry print bags. See more images after the jump – I tried to keep my photos different to the items on the A|wear facebook page for variety…
…make it polka dots! Confession time ladies, I LOVE polka dots. I have always loved them! I have many items in my wardrobe with those cute little dots on them, from jewellery to underwear to blouses – I just can’t get enough! My thinking is, polka dots aren’t just for Minnie Mouse, they’re for everyone
The world may have embraced Breton stripes this year, but I’m hanging on to my ditsy dots…
…make it a little white dress! Yes the LWD is about to become my summer replacement for my Little Black Dress (though I’m sure I will still throw on the LBD for some occasions…). What’s not to love – its summery, makes a tan look even better, stands out in a sea of LBD’s and guys love white! And don’t think it has to be boring – just look at how Zoe Saldana works her’s in the pic below…
